WASHING GUIDE
EXODE clothing is made from premium thick cotton and printed using sustainable techniques.
Proper care is essential to preserve the softness of the fabric , the strength of the fibers and the vibrancy of the patterns over time.
1. Machine wash
To protect your prints and prevent wear and tear:
- Turn the garment inside out : always wash the t-shirt inside out to protect the design.
- Cold water (30°C) : hot water can shrink cotton and dull inks.
- Gentle cycle : reduces stress on the fibers and prevents pattern cracking.
- Use mild detergent : avoid bleach, harsh chemicals or strong stain removers.
- Wash with similar fabrics : separate heavy items such as jeans or towels.
Option: washing net : to reduce abrasion during drumming.
2. Hand wash
Recommended for maximum longevity
- Fill a basin with cold water .
- Add a mild detergent , without bleach or fabric softener.
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Shake gently, without rubbing or twisting .
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all residue.
- Squeeze without twisting to extract the water (by hand or with a towel).
3. Drying
- Air drying is recommended : lay flat or on a wide hanger, in the shade.
- Tumble dryer (if necessary) : low temperature, garment inside out, remove as soon as it is dry.
- Avoid any high heat , which weakens the fibers and prints.
4. Ironing
- Iron inside out , at a low temperature , with a thin cloth between the iron and the garment.
- Light steaming is possible on the reverse side, without pressing too hard on the pattern.
- Hang the garment after washing to limit creases and reduce the use of heat.
